This 3D scanning application utilizes a smartphone camera to capture the surrounding environment and generate a digital 3D model. It integrates advanced 3D scanning technologies with augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) functionalities, enabling an immersive experience. The scanning process involves capturing multiple photographs during an AR/VR session, which are then processed through photogrammetry techniques to construct an accurate 3D representation of the scanned area.

Once the 3D model is created, users can view it locally on their mobile device through a dedicated 3D viewer or upload it to an online platform for broader access and sharing. The application produces a textured mesh that realistically depicts the scene, facilitating various uses including integration into CAD software, gaming environments, or virtual spaces. Following the scanning process, users can conveniently add measurement points within the model to determine distances, dimensions, surface areas, or volumes. This eliminates the need for traditional measurement tools like tape measures or laser rangefinders, as measurements can be directly taken on the digital model using virtual rulers. The app supports metric units (meters, centimeters, square meters) as well as imperial units (feet, inches, square feet), providing versatile measurement options.

For Android devices, the application relies on Google ARCore to enable AR functionalities and facilitate accurate spatial mapping.
